Here are the Virginia students, the class above is the one that is involved in the "chat". The class below may contribute videos if they can't locate another class anywhere to do a similar project with. Stage one, we discussed what would make a good digital story, generated ideas, and chose topics. Next, we plan to list ideas of what should be included in each story. I see the resolution and clarity are not the best, they were taken with a cell phone. I'll see if I can get some better ones a bit later.

Our Progress and Plan1. Mr. Blodgett and Brandon demonstrated some of the video editing capablities of Windows Live Movie Maker.
2. We watched examples (from Africa, did you see the same ones?) 3. We discussed what makes a good story. 4. We chose topics. 5. Today, March, 8th, we are filling out a story organizer, listing the points we want to include in our stories. 6. We are starting "story boards." 7. Students will begin "shooting" their stories this week, we hope to have some of them ready for editing next week. |

Step 2: We listed elements in our story and chose images. Step 3: We wrote the script of our story. Step 4: We used iPad 2s to film and take photos. We used iMovie to put all the elements together. Some of us recorded a narrative to go with the images and clips. Step 5: Our next step will be to upload the videos to the weebly. Look for our videos next week! |
